Role and responsibilities
Product Ownership
Define and articulate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback collection to refine product strategies.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity, alignment, and a focus on the product’s objectives.
Ensure the app publishing process aligns with best practices and compliance requirements.
Work closely with developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and timely delivery.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and vendor teams, ensuring alignment on product goals.
Agile Facilitation
Plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices while fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Act as a servant leader by removing impediments that block the team’s progress.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing and business teams to optimize app performance, distribution, and monetization strategies.
Monitor and analyze both product performance (user engagement, retention, feature adoption, etc.) and business performance (revenue, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, etc.) to ensure sustainable growth.
Provide clear and concise updates on product development progress and outcomes to all stakeholders.
Propose data-driven optimization strategies based on insights from product and business performance metrics.
Customer Focus
Act as the voice of the customer by conducting user research, validating assumptions, and identifying innovation opportunities.
Foster a culture of customer interviews and focus on defining North Star metrics and resolving high-priority customer pain points.
Measure and analyze product performance to drive satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Education and experience
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or related role in mobile applications or digital products.
Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analytical mindset with experience using data to prioritize features and make informed decisions.
Product Lifecycle Management: Strong knowledge of mobile app development lifecycle, including app publishing on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Technical Fluency: Ability to discuss and understand concepts with developers and designers.
Mobile app Knowledge: Familiarity with ASO (App Store Optimization), app monetization models, user analytics tools and related trends.
