Overview: The Community Manager focuses on building strategic relationships with partners and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Web3, orchestrating collaborative campaigns to drive user acquisition and community engagement. This role recognizes that community building is the foundation of success in Web3.Role and responsibilities
Partnership & KOL Management:
Build and maintain relationships with partners, protocols, and projects in the Web3 ecosystem
Identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations with relevant KOLs and influencers
Develop a strategic partner network that amplifies product reach
Create mutually beneficial partnerships that drive value for all parties
Campaign Execution:
Plan and execute collaborative campaigns and co-marketing initiatives
Organize online/offline events: AMAs, Twitter Spaces, workshops, meetups
Drive user acquisition and community engagement through partner activations
Coordinate cross-promotional activities aligned with GTM phases
Community Growth Strategy:
Understand that community trust and advocacy are the keys to Web3 growth
Develop engagement strategies that foster genuine community connections
Leverage partnerships to expand community reach and diversity
Build mechanisms for community members to become brand advocates
Performance & Insights:
Track and report on partnership campaign effectiveness
Monitor community sentiment and gather feedback for product iterations
Make data-driven decisions on partnership priorities and resource allocation
Provide insights on community needs to inform product development
Education and experience
Essential:
2-3 years experience in community management or partnerships in Web3/Crypto
Existing network with KOLs, influencers, and projects in the industry
Deep understanding that community is the core growth driver in Web3
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong grasp of Web3 culture and crypto-native behaviors
Experience organizing events and running collaborative campaigns
Product-driven mindset: ability to translate product features into community value
Data-driven approach to measuring partnership ROI and community health
Growth mindset: proactive in identifying and testing new partnership opportunities
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously
Fluent in English
Preferred:
Experience working at Web3 projects or crypto exchanges
Proficiency in Discord and Telegram community management
Connections with crypto media outlets and publication platforms
Understanding of on-chain community analytics
