What we're looking for
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist to enhance our mobile app visibility and drive organic growth across app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of app store algorithms, keyword research, and optimization techniques to improve rankings, conversion rates, and overall app performance.Role and responsibilities
1. App Store Optimization (ASO)
Monitor and interpret app store policies (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store) to ensure all applications meet the required guidelines for submission and updates.
Collaborate with product, development, and marketing teams to address compliance issues and ensure app releases are not delayed or rejected.
Stay updated on changes to app store policies and proactively communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct audits of app content, features, and metadata to ensure ongoing compliance with app store requirements.
2. Keyword Research and Analysis:
Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-performing keywords for app stores.
Monitor keyword rankings and update metadata to maintain or improve visibility.
3. Performance Monitoring:
Analyze and track app store performance metrics (downloads, rankings, ratings, reviews).
Identify trends and insights to refine ASO strategies.
4. Competitor Analysis:
Monitor and analyze competitor apps to identify optimization opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes in app stores.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with product, marketing, and design teams to align ASO strategies with overall goals.
Create detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with app store compliance (Google Play, Apple App Store) and AdMob policies is highly desirable.
2-4 years of experience in App Store Optimization (ASO) or a related role.
Strong knowledge of app store algorithms, ranking factors, and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in ASO tools such as App Annie, Sensor Tower, MobileAction, or equivalent.
Solid understanding of keyword research and data analysis.
Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging and conversion-focused app store assets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of mobile marketing and user acquisition is a plus.
Familiarity with app development processes and mobile UI/UX is an advantage.
Experience or knowledge in SEO is a plus.
